Study Hub Event Planning & Promotion

Strategy: Spoon University is an online food magazine by and for college kids. As a way to generate a sense of community and a feeling of comfort during the otherwise stressful midterm season, Spoon University partner with GrubHub to put on StudyHub. StudyHub was a local event that offered students an alternative study space complete with free food and drinks from local providers, free on-site massages, an interactive art wall, and- of course- quiet spaces for studying.

Role: Marketing Director, overseeing all event strategy, execution and promotion

  • $15,000 budget for food, drink and entertainment
  • 480 StudyHub event attendees & emails captured 
  • 100K views on national snapchat takeover
  • 2 earned media placements in local publications
